Hi. My name is Francisco I go by Paco and my daily is a s13/sr20det. Been driving it for a while now for the longest time i was fine with my Megan Racing coilovers but they have started to wear on my back because I feel every little bump! I want a soft ride with the speed too!! I want to be able to cruise around and not worried about hitting my head on the headliner! Any suggestions? Different coilovers? Bags? Struts? Any kind of suspension work! Thank you!

Running stiff springs are going to result in a stiff ride regardless.
However, KWs are your best bet. You're going to be jumping from cheap knockoffs to coilovers made by a company who's expertise is suspension. It will be a big difference in ride.

What about upper control arms and strut bars? Any difference there? Should I get a good aftermarket brand or just go OEM?

If you want to keep it simple you could always just run a decent spring/ strut combo (if you aren't concerned about being super low). Tein, Eibach, and Megan Racing springs all ride fairly soft, and KYB GR2 struts are pretty cheap and reliable (comparable to OEM), and you don't have to mess with ruca's or alignment if you don't want. If you want to go the coilover route, quality isn't cheap. I run Cusco coils and ruca's and they are a world of difference compared to the K-sports on my other s13. It all comes down to your style of driving and budget.

If you're going to lower your car a lot, you'll need to get adjustable rear upper control arms. The arms probably won't make a huge difference in ride.

I have a Cusco strut bar, and I didn't feel a difference in anything. Probably because it's a 3 piece setup. I'll probably get a solid one like DC Sport or Jonnie Fraz's.

Look up the "Feal Suspension" they rebuild Megan coilovers with better parts and have the option to upgrade to Swift Springs or revalve. Just go for a softer spring set and you'll be golden.
