That sounds like a steal for an 06 even for a base model. I did a lot of window shopping before a got my z. I ended up paying 18k for a 03 track edition with 30k miles, which was the best deal i found that time. I believe, as far as defects, the '06's are in the clear. Carfax is the best way to find out if the car had previous history(ies). Or if there are any known recalls for the year and model. Other than that 19k for an 06 sounds like a pretty good deal. What I would look for (eand this is just personal preference):18" rims (rays engineering)navigationbose systemhid headlights (or xenon lights as they call it)brembo brakesinterior doesn't smell like smoke (unless you smoke, then it wouldn't matter)6 on the floor (again, personal preference)tires with a lot of thread in them, or with good threadwear patternBone stock 350z (no, mods. i prefer to do it myself)

The base model won't have the navigation, brembo brakes, etc. If you are close to a Nissan dealer get a Z car folder. It will list the standard equip and options for each model. One of the big complaints I hear about the 06 is some of the 06s burn oil.

The 06 are great. They have HIDs, LEDs, new interior, bigger brakes and new front grille.

its never too late to back out if you get there and you see something you dont like. Its cheaper to just pay for the trip back than to be stuck with a lemon.

As far as Nismo parts go to my knowledge, i think your good on the NISMO S-tune (street tune) products as far as warranty, and i do believe they may need to be installed by a nissan dealer/shop. Now the NISMO R-Tune (race tune) is going to void it, again to my knowledge. Ask a nissan dealer before purchasing though or wait for someone to back me up.... Now the only way a warranty can be void by an after market product is if they prove that the problem was caused by the mod. Which with engine mods its likely they can prove it.

Why sell the TT zx for an N/A Z33??? The TT is definitely faster. High miles on it? plans to turbo the 350?

sweet thnx man...as far as the zx goes it is way faster spec. since its got 600bb turbos and 740cc injectors and all the other goodies i would say it puts down about 500hp (low tune cause no internals) but idk for sure actually miles are low only 88xxx, reason for selling is im goin off to college and need a newer car to get me through and more reliable.. since i love the z family i might as well stick to it, i do plan on putting a twin turbo on the z33 but that prolly wont happen for about 2 more years, ok so what your saying is that unless i buy S-tune parts from nismo and i want to keep the warranty i shouldnt buy any other aftermarket parts?? what about body work and wheels? could they argue that bigger or wider rims mess with the suspension? or steering????

Thats cheap for an 06. If you can see if it's at least the enthusiast model because they have lsd. If you buy the nismo wheels they might cover them. To be sure go to a lcoal Nissan dealer and ask them.

Easy way to tell. Does it have cruise control? I think every model besides the base had cruise control. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

And that is a heck of a steal for that car. I paid $18,995 for mine. And it is an 04 "base" with 40k miles when I got it. Only extras it had was the leather interior.......I kinda wish it had cruise control though (would save me gas money lol).

In 03' & 04' they had the performance model (which is what i got) comes with LSD, but no cruise. Step up from the base... The best thing for someone who just wants the car, the motor, and ability to make sh*t happen. The auto performance models also have the traction control, i think. I know mine doesn't have that waste of space.

Also, if you want to TT the Z33 just get that carbon LSD when its time. i'm gonna replace mine with the carbon as soon as the money is right.

well does nissan offer that carbon LSD?? cause im goin to try and hold on to that warranty as long as possible. i think i should b getting either a blue enthu. with 20k miles for 20k or a black base that has 19k miles for 20k... which one yall think??? everything on em is the same but for the LSD i guess.... what yall think?

If the enthusiast has lsd I'd get it man...$1000 more for lsd is better buy...in my opinion.

I think the carbon LSD is like $1500 (give or take a few). I guess all that you have to decide is the miles and the color you want. And how important the factory LSD is to you. The blue is pretty sweet color, throw a carbon fiber hood, aero kit, and some other miscellaneous carbon fiber, that would be sweet. Black is sharp too, but im not a fan of the black Z's. Black hides the curves of the car (for my taste). Still is definitely sweet though, just not my fav.

Probably would've been my choice. I think the blue is tied with red for my favorite color on the Z. well besides pearl...
