wanting opinions on t61 turbo..

ok i have been looking around at turbos for awhile now and i was wondering if this would suit my needs.... i want a turbo that spools by 4k-4.5k, not worried about lag too much, and i want alot of power.... around 400hp+ as i build up the car.... i found a garret t61 turbo at http://www.turbocalculators.com for 650 bucks... and it looks to be one that would suit my needs... anyone know if it would? is it too big? also heres a compressor map..

How do you feel about spending some money, and getting something like a GT35R? I run one on my car, and it is absolutely fricking awesome. Its rated to 680hp, but spools 20psi by 4500rpm

now thats the gt35r dual ball bearing one right? around 1700? thats a bit pricey for me... i just wanted something a little bit bigger than a t3/t4... wouldnt spend more than a grand tho on the turbo itself....maybe a phat ka-t pk-35 would be a good choice?

well after looking at the dyno sheet for the phat ka-t s13... i think thats the turbo i want.... now i just have to get my damn loan.... i guess i answered my own question....

seems to finish spool around 4200... and thats perfect for me... and its only 862 bucks... not badk, not bad

PK uses a variant PK35 non-ball bearing a a different turbine. the gt35r is listed around $1300

i run a precision pt61. is a not-as-effiecent on-center turbo but still hits 20psi before 4500rpms uses a t4 turbine also.
