Wanted: Top mount manifold + turbo

I put this up in the classified section as well, but thought I'd do it here too just incase anyone has any parts.

I blew my turbo for the 2nd time and am giving up on the T25 turbo - it sucks (or just my luck does...either way) and my manifold is warped (being that it is the awful SSautochrome one, it's no surprise).

Now, I could get the manifold re-machined for $40, and get another used T25 for $150 or so, and be done - but I'm finding it to be pointless as I'm sure it'll just blow and warp again since the parts are just so terrible in quality.

I'm looking for a top mount manifold and a turbo, that ISN'T for a T25. If you have what I'm looking for - let me know. It's for an S13, if it matters, and no I'm not going to go to IAP - so don't just throw sponsers in my face - I can't wait a damn month to get parts, this car is my only transportation and it's nearly impossible for me to get back on my feet without it.Thanks.

post up this same thread in the calssifieds under nissan parts... just put wtb in the thread title. i have a ssac top mount manifold that has lasted my so far with no problems... i know you're going to go with something with a better reputation, just wanted to throw that in there just in case the money issue is a really big thing right now. i'm not selling mine but they can be had for cheap as you are aware of.

if i were to get a different manifold, which will undoubtedly happen when i decide to get a bigger turbo and go for 300+ whp, i will definitely be looking at AIP's stuff.. they give a very considerable discount to nico members, so you may want to look at their stuff too...

$449 for a top mount equal length good quality manifold... hard to find anything that compares to that for what it is. you may find cast manifolds for cheaper (my brother sold his rev hard mani to someone for $300 or something like that... maybe $350, but it just doesn't compare. i understand the money thihng though, so i mean $449 my just be out of the question at this point. good luck with whatever you decide to do. as always ask questions if you have any.

Thanks for the thing, that manifold is gorgeous, and I was turned off because on their website it's $800 - and I just don't have that kind of cash for just a mani, but would LOVE to have that one - I'll hit them up and see what we can do.

I found a BRAND NEW untouched T3/T04E turbo .48 AR turbine .50 AR T04E compresser in 50 trim for $350 shipped to my door, and am looking for a mani to fit it.

I'm talkin' with IAP now - just waiting 'till tomorrow to get a response on pricing. Sadly the turbo I was looking at sold - but whatever...I want a t3/t04e turbo anyways, so might as well just get it overwith and do it.
