Wanted ka24e single cam engine in socal?

hey guys, the forum has helped me out before getting a transmission for my 240 but now i need an engine, i'm just looking to do a stright swap for an other single cam ka24e engine. any help will be great, i'm in long beach CA please give a call if you have one.

hey i might have one that i am willing to let go really cheap...but i need to make sure my friend still has it...ill get back to you asap.

it has a lot of miles though...might need a rebuilt? it had like 220,XXX miles.

well let me know i'm not trying to do a rebuild but i'll check it out. mine has 260K miles on it with a blown head and i still drive it 3 blocks a day but i leave a 1/4 mile of smoke behind me.

i'm shopping for an sr swap myself so if i find one i'll have a k24e with 160k ish miles on it. It's running fine right now.

i have a ka24e motor out of a 1990 240sx with 127k on it. motor was fine when pulled, i swapped for an sr20. i took the head off to rebuild but thats it. all internals are still in it and i have all the bolt on accessories in a box. all you need is a new head and valve cover gasket and it will start right up, or you can disassemble even more to build it up for high hp like i was. or use it as a parts motor for anything that goes out on your car. im asking $100obo for the entire motor. need to clean out garage so this needs to go ASAP. no reasonable offer will be refused. no pics sorry

well i got my single cam and i looking to see if my buddies have and engine hoist. but now i'm thinking of getting a dual cam with wire harness and ecu. how much do these run for?

sorry i couldnt get back to u soon enough but good to hear you found one.

i got my twin cam for $300 with 115,XXX miles but no wire harness...but that was like 2 years ago...

i unno how much they go for now.

probably around the same price? maybe a little more including a wire harness.

Let me know if you are still planning on getting a dual cam. I have a dohc engine with the wiring harness/ecu/etc that I am willing to trade for a good running single cam motor.
