WANTED: info on swap of the 2JZ into 240sx

Hi i was just wondering if anyone has any info on what is needed to do the swap of a 2jz into a 240sx i have seen a couple people do this if anyone has any info or links or any where i could go to find out what is needed to complete the swap i would like to see it thanks - Nick

Well, I'd imagine that you'd need:

-2JZ front clip, probably from a JZA80, if you want that Getrag 6MT.

And EITHER:

-Waaaaaay more mechanical/custom-fab knowledge than you probably have

or:

-About $15,000-20,000 to get a really competent shop to do it for you.

I'm sure that if you call bulletproof automotive (also known as Top Secret 3), they can arrange to have it done, but prepare to hand over a blank check.

there is a company that does such swap, they also do upgrades to the engine, but you'll have to search for their site as i've forgotten it.

Thanks guys i knew it was going to take alot of custom fab but i didnt know what kind and i wasent sure of what parts needed to be swaped. As for the one i thought someone from taiwan does the swap i just didnt know if you guys knew of who it was thanks in advance if anyone else has any information!

I've heard the swap quoted at $15,000 for parts and labor. A little on the cheap if you ask me, but that's what I was told. Your best bet is to call aftermarket shops in your area and see who they recommend for custom engine work. Check with them and see what they have to say.
