Hi guys,

I am looking for a CA18DET harness too. I had one but it got butchered when they modified it to work with my KA harness. Does anybody have one? A harness that has already been merged with the KA one would be even better. Oh. And the transmission is automatic, if that makes a difference. Thanks

Just pulled an automatic CA out of a car that I wired for a customer years ago. It is important that the lower harness be wired correctly for the automatic set-up, so it will be best to start with an automatic lower harness. The engine harness doesn't matter. I'll check and see if I have a second engine harness if that's what you're pertaining too.

Dee,

I just replied to you on the other thread. I am definitely interested in talking more about this. The harness I am looking for is the one that you plug the injectors and the AC into. I believe it's the engine harness. It's the one that has to be rigged with parts of the original KA harness and parts of the new CA harness but the guy who did the work completely destroyed it so now, I have no plug for the AC, one injector not firing and several of the wires were cut or yanked out of the harness. it's a real mess. Just in case you happen to have one, I am also looking for a flexplate for my CA. I found one in Tokyo but it is backordered for at least a month so now, I have a beautiful rebuilt freshly painted engine sitting in a car in my driveway not running. Thanks for your help.
