Wanted... 93+ TCU!?

Due to some fantastic work the guys who built my transmission, complete with 2800rpm stall convertor, a cannot shift the 1990 model car into first gear!!! (the gear stick is not the right size somehow...)Therefore i have a nice stall convertor which effectively is useless as i can only get into first by WOT... Anyone know where i might be able to source a 93+ TCU to australia???Thanks in advance Macca

I don't have an answer to your question - but I do know that the 2-1 selector on the car is completely electronic. The mechanical linkage has nothing to do with the driver's ability to manually shift the car into 1st. So my guess is that there is an electrical connection that's not hooked up.

I don't know if there's a site like http://www.car-part.com for Australia... Probably wouldn't help much since your Q's are all typically JDM imports anyhow? What would it take to ship something to Australia? Maybe someone here could send it to you?
