WANTED!! 01 qx4 sunroof motor

im looking for a good working sunroof motor for a 01 qx4. im not sure what other infiniti vehicles they interchange with but looks like maybe 97-01 Q45 might be similar.

You can have mine but the price would include the complete working 1997 QX4. What diagnoses have you done on that roof mechanism and electrics?

a 97 QX4 motor wont work. the plugs are different. the motor itself and body look the same but plugs are not. i took the motor out and there are 2 leads comming out by the back of the motor inside the case (had to open up the plastic body) then i tested the leads that went directly to the brushes and the motor would not turn. i took the whole motor apart, cleaned the brushes and lubed up the armature ends then testd the leads again. the motor turned super slow and made the wires too hot to touch. my guess is its bad. an electric motor is an electric motor lol as long as there are + and - DC leads on them it should jump unless its toast. well its toast haha.
