Alright...This guy wants to race me on the track. He has a 2003 nissan altima v-6 all stock with a manual transmission i think. I have a 1991 240sx hatchback with I/H/E no cat and just did a zex nitrous install and right now im running the 55 shot. I have an automatic unfortantly but ill deal. What do any of you think the outcome of this race would be......thanx

those cars are 15.4 with auto and 14.7 with manual, there are people on altimas.net hitting lower than that tho to. My own opinion would be it would be close but he would probably win if 5 speed. Just a guess here. Auto vs Auto you should probably win

i think you have a decent chance. with jsut intake and exhuast on my s14 auto i hit 16.0. i never got to the track with my headers tho. but with the n20 i say u have a good chance. make sure u can get traction tho

sound pretty close to me. Do you have good tires and traction. What size rims and how heavy? is your car running good? depends on a lot of things i guess.

run more nitrous...

just do about 125 for the run.. hope you have a wet kit

its all in the drievr at most track runs. The tree, 60 ft and reaction times will be the most determining factors. Driev well, dont spin too much (some is good--no bog), and make sure you have good tires,a dn clean shifts. THEN, it will be up to whos car is faster. If he is not a good driver, its in the bag for you. I ran a 13.9 with a 75 shot. I had msd and a header, intake and n1. Other than that iw as stock. Oh yes--nitrous 240's love race gas. Put in some 110, adn roll out. Itll help too.

Ive seen stock VQ manual altimas put down numbers in the high 13's. Its all about how good the altima driver is. He should beat you even despite your mods.

yall think a sprayed 240 with other mods wil get outrun by a v6 alty? the alty makes ALOT of great power, but i dont think it would outrun a 240 from a stop. Never raced one though--tell us how t turns out, bro.
