I need to know a couple things and hopefully you guys can help me out.I want to swap a CA18det into my S14 zenki and i was wondering if everything would fit and bolt in. Im pretty sure it does... second thing is, i know it doesnt come with an ignitor chip and MAF, im gonna get the Q45 ignitor chip no problem but the MAF is where i have a problem, would the one for the KA work with this? or what do I need and where can I get it? any help would be appreciated.

Yes the motor bolts right in ,but for the engine harness,it's gonna be a little tricky ,because all the power wires are under the dash in the S14 unlike the S13 it is by the battery,so you will need to make a 5ft sub-wire harness in order for you to run a CA18DET or even a S13 SR20DET Redtopin your S14.....

yes it consists of cutting splicing soldering and reading S14 ECU pinouts

Cross chassis swaps are much more difficult. Not impossible, but difficult. I only know of one other S14 with a CA in it and it's no longer running anyway.

sort of... Ray got a redtop s13 SR in there for afew months, attended afew drift events here in FL with it, then he sold the whole car. Just picked up a pretty sweet new 350z

so how did they like the ca in their s14's? im tryin to get better weight distribrution by doing this, even if its not much. and the motor has great potential. I wouldn't want any more than 250 hp on it either.

Trying to use the stock wiring is going to be the largest hurdle. I'd HIGHLY reccommend a standalone. And yes im talking about Ray.
