want to sell my 1979 280zx

i have a 79 280zx body is seriously 9.5/10 99% rust free, a little clear coat is fading on the trunk / roof. it is a 5 speed model. milage is 4xxx.. so probably 204xxx since it seems to run like poop, but maybe 104xxx, as i said doesnt run right, will get from point a - b, but needs a tune up i think, it putts while driving sometimes, seems like a bad plug. my question is, what price range should i be asking, only reason im selling is i have a 74 260z also, which is my current project, and need more space. so anyone know what i can expect to get for it ?

all s130's with a manual trans had 5 speeds, as for milage it might ne 304k! the shell is the hard thing to fine, but prices can still very widely, depending on demand in your area, anywhere from $500-$2000, ultimately it's worth whatever you can get for it

I'd buy it off you if I could sell my 85 300zx, and talk my wife into letting me buy it. The second is the harder of the two. I want a Z I can drop a RB engine and trans into. Why does life have to suck so badly sometimes...

Wow, body wise it looks sharp. Interior needs a little TLC, but that's what you get with a 20+ year old car, huh. I talked to my wife, and unfortunately it's a no go. Sorry man. Would love to take that off your hands. It's the body style of one of my favorite Autobots from Transformers, Prowl. I really want a Z of that body style to do up like Prowl for shows and stuff. I know...I'm weird.

why didn't you list it under datsun? I know ebay has a 280zx subsection under nissan but the s130 is of course badged as datsun

I just checked your posting on e-bay, and I'd watch out on the two that have been bidding on your car. One of them has a -1 rating, and the other, could be a newbie, has a 0 rating. The possibility of someone actually buying it from you looks bleak from my past experience. I tried selling a few things once on e-bay and someone with a negative rating was bidding on it, won, and then didn't want to pay up. Just looking out for a fellow Z owner.

i bought my 1981 280zx 2by2 GL for $2100 and it needed a little work and a paint job and that price didnt seem too high.
