I'm sure some of you have seen this but here it is in case you haven't. Finally a real tool to roll your fenders with. Sure you can use plyers or whatever but if you care about your paint, you should pick one of these up.

Eastwood Fender Finisher -

Definitely worth $50. I'm probably gonna pick one of these up soon.

I consider a roll making that edge right under the fender flat.

I consider a pull pulling out the fender to make it wider.

But thats not really a "roll". No offense, looks like a great tool to have in the case you are having a problem with that inner lip, but to get a true "roll" in your fender for a wider tire, you will need to pull that fender out slightly. Though the "baseball bat with a heat gun" works out quite well if you take your time, there is a device devoted just for a fender roll, or flare.

Though this is meant to only tuck the inner lip, it can also be used to give some flare to clear those wide tires you run.

^ Ya totally, I know what you mean. That is basically the next stage to fender work. This only addresses a small part.

But most people aren't going to want to flare out their fenders.

This is just a simple tool to keep your slightly larger tires/wheels from rubbing. I wouldn't want to try to flare anything with this tool. That would be even worse than a jack/baseball bat. But will some others try and be pissed off when it looks like poo? Absolutely.

Oh ok, I guess it just took some clearing up - Glad to know we addressed that, now whoever decides they want a "roll" won't say, "well AZ89 said I could just do this and I have some JDM rollz fenders."

But I guess it would only take a boi-of-fan to honestly think those were meant to do the drift style flare.

Seriously I used a bat and drove my car forward and backward while my friend manned the bat. Easy as pie and perfect roll for your rim/tire combo every time.

I helped a friend do his s13 with a real east wood roller/puller and it took 3-4hrs and he still had more paint chipping then i did.

It wont always work out that way but your best bet is just roll the thing and touch up the paint later, no matter how much or little you roll it you will flake some paint, just be prepared for it.

You people are ghetto. haha.

It's not meant to give a pull. A baseball bat will flare out the fenders somewhat. This thing is just meant to make the fender flat. Don't over think it guys.

I'm curious to see justinprasad87's one that he said he bent. Granted none of us should have that problem as our old jap cars are basically tin foil.

You can use a baseball bat to NOT pull. You can use one to just roll the inner lips.

The trick is you gotta cut the "handle" part of the bat off.
Raise the car.
Roll with bat.
Lower car.
????

it's not ghetto, it's not wasting $50 on a clamp when you already own probably 1/2 dozen other things that will do the same job just as effectively.

I read in a modified that the only use for the fender finisher is to roll the inside flap up, not pull the fender at all. It is mostly supposed to be used on cars like s2ks because their front fenders are notoriously thin...but I could be wrong...maybe

Hmmm. I have always used an Eastwood roller to roll the inner lip. You don't HAVE to do a pull with an Eastwood fender roller. In fact, I believe that's all it was originally designed for is to toll the inner lip flat and out of the way. It just happens to work as a puller as well, IMO.
