Want to replace the factory stereo...

I have the regular factory stereo (not the bose system). But I think I want to install a dvd/gps system. Does anyone have photos of some similar work? I am afraid it will look cheap. I know Crutchfield will supply me with a dash kit but I am still nervous as to how it will look. Any photos or suggestions??? Thanks!!!
