want to put a rb25 in a d21...help plz

Well, old hardbodies had ka24e engines in them, so I can imagine it's a pretty simple swap... I read somewhere that you install it the same way you would into a 240sx. Don't hold me to that. I can't prove it, but I did read it.

I would imagine not, but you'd need a custom driveshaft. I just watched some arab video of a hardbody with an rb25 in it - very impressive!

I can't find a lip for it. When you are looking for parts and stuff, some sites have it listed as a Nissan Hardbody.

Hopefully the OP has money, it's nice to dream but most never have enough to finish, or even start, the project. Get ready to tear the truck apart and spend some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Get the motor and figure it out. If you're sold on that motor there isn't much that's going to sway you. There is a NICO user that's done it but he's not a regular poster, and I can't remember his name. It's not very common, you're not going to get a whole lot of information on something this rare. You kind of just have to do it. If you have a buddy that welds, you just need to drop it in there and make it work, and then share what you did with the world, because nobody else is.

why do you want to put an rb in it?
the ka can make more then enough power if anything, id say get a ka24de rebuild it slap a new cam turbo kit with a 300zx transmission and a bigger diff. rb's are nice dont get me wrong but they cost alot and parts for them cost even more and are harder to find.

if you want something different then turbo charging the truck will be different idk where located but around here ive only seen a truck with a 1jz alot with big blocks and thats about it

all depends on how much power you want to make
and the gear ratio
im still trying to decide on what rear end to go with for mine

from one my mech tells me
the best bet is to get a rear end off an american car cause they are nice and beefy
but you dont want something to crazy that you will never be able to put power to the ground
