Hey ive been thinking about changing the exterior color of my car. My last Z had an original Pearl Yellow glow color to it. From what i know very few Z32's came in that color. and oh yea it got a ****load of attention. There were people taking pics of it while they were driving along side me on the roadway. And people were always comin up to me and asking questions about the car. I now currently have a red Z32 TT. Its not that really bright red its more towards a cherry red i would say. Still gets attention but not as much as my previous yellow Z. The paint is original and still in great cond on my current Z. Would changing the original color decrease the value of the car? I want to change the color to what my first Z was Pearl yellow. U guys think its a good idea? would it look funky.. lol cuz wouldnt the red paint show when i take the t-tops off? or can that be painted also?

do you just want to change the color of the car for attention?? or do you really like the color yellow? and if your worried about the red color showing in areas then you either need to get a good paint job or just leave the car as is. good luck and let us know what you decide to do

personally I hate yellow, but if you're gonna repaint it don't plan on recouping those costs when the car gets sold, a decent color change paint job with jambs will cost around $5000, and if you want the engine bay done to match double that! and we're not talking maaco now are we talking sema show car we're talking abotu a good factory looking paint job, most color change jobs I see are doen for less and it shows and I wouldn't buy one taht had been done as the cheap jobs look well cheap, my opinion if you watn a yellow car buy one, they are rare and it might take some time to find one but chances are won't cost much more than a complete color change paint job!

and to attract even more attention glue a giant waterbuffalo to you're hood

Yellow Z's are everywhere up here. Nothing special around me. Plus IMO the cherry metallic is a much better color.
