Want to install 6.5 in 97 J30 need help

Does anybody know of a site that has adapters or instuctions on how to make 6.5's fit in the front doors??

I believe the J30 has a bose system, correct?

If so you can take out the bose pods in the front doors.

Put them face down on a piece or 1/4 plywood or some other firm material. Then trace the outline of the pod and the screw holes.

Then cut it out!

Drill the holes for the screws.

Then take the template that came with the 6.5 speakers and draw it onto the plate.

Then cut it out.

Check to make sure the speaker will clear the window when it's all the way down.

If it doesn't then you may have to move the speaker out a little bbit. Make a spacer with the same material you used for the plate
