We will start with the first of the month. Not only does my IPhone meet water, but my ex-boss also suspends the account because I found another job that pays every 2 weeks, as comparisson to him who pays whenever he feels like it, for only 40 hours. Mind you, the reason I still had the phone after I told him I needed another job was because I have known him since cub scouts, he was my cub/boy scout leader. Next day. Go into work. I am managing a harbor store on the local lake/reservoir. End of the day rolls around, and my feet are painted red from the sunburn. I decide to go to an ex girlfriends house that night (thats another long story, attempting to sort stuff out
Wrong. I begin to hose hazardous area with dawn and sweeping it with a broom, trying to agitate the oil out of the pavement. As I thought I was doing a good thing - I learned the next morning it didn't work. Calls from the parents, yelling about how I HAVE to get it cleaned up as soon as possible, or they will have to hire someone proffesionally to clean it and yada yada. I'm fine with that, honestly - I will pay for a proffesional to do his job. After hearing the bitching from the mother, the daughter (ex girlfriend), and neighbors, I begin my voyage to work. I still hear a slight tick in the engine bay - meh, can't be too much, check it out on my day off.
Oh wait, as I get into my car - I see BUBBLY BLISTERS on my feet. Awesome. Can we say sun poisoning? And I get to do it again that day. On 4th of july weekend. The most busy weekend of the year if you deal with boating in any kind of way.
So day goes by, and the next, so then 4th of july night. I spend attempting to clean in the dark an oil spill. AGAIN. Happy 4th to corey. As I leave her parents house and get onto the interstate, my engine in the celica begins to make a louder tap. Grand right, wrong. Within roughly 10 seconds it went from louder tick to metal on metal slapping, drop of compression, and oil all the way down the interstate. Car is off the road, good. get it towed tomorrow. Get some stuff out of the passenger side, only my luck that there is a fire ant bed at my passenger door that can't be seen in dark. Not only are my feet burned crispy, but I now have roughly 50 ant bites on each foot from kicking through it as I grabbed the important stuff out of the car.
Tomorrow rolls around and what do you know, 24/7 towing ISN'T 24/7!!! I will also add here that a huge rain came through, and the passenger window motor went out 4 days before.
So now to today. My day off. Ahhhh, relaxation, get the Celica off the interstate and begin for engine, get my SR put back together and have her with zero oil leaks, what a good day this will be.
Again. Wrong. I drive out to where my Celica decided to sling a rod, and to my avail, NO CAR. I call highway patrol, every tow company, MDOT (Mississippi department of transport), EVERYONE. No record of the car being towed.
Awesome. The celica has been stolen. And it was just there 2 hours earlier when the ex drove by it on her way to work.
Great. AWESOME. last 4 days. Sorry to make you read so much, but I really had to rant - I have no facebook/myspace/etc. to go about it on because they are just gay.
So the only good news I have is I got the last part I need to put the SR back together, the rear main seal retainer. Great news huh, but I still don't even know if it is an interchangeable part with the SR20DE from america.
