sounds like yer ECU has been chipped...mine kicks in DEAD AT 7600rpms...outside of getting yer ecu chipped back...go get some rocker arm stoppers NOW and install those bad boys...dont wanna float a rocker arm by accident

Umm, how about not bouncing off your redline? That might help.

rocker arm stoppers prevent your rocker arms from basically FLYING OFF from revving the piss outta yer car...people in the drifting world use these ALOT because we rev the **** out of our cars

i do not recommend revving your motor over 7500 rpms PERIOD...you have a stock head and stock head gasget...over revving your engine will cause pretty bad damage to yer head...especially in yer sitaution where you dont have a rev limiter...the SR wasnt made for ultra high revving...the CA is a different story in that respect because its a different block and TOTALLY different head design...but yah...id just suggest you purchase some rocker arm stoppers for the sake of ENGINE SAFETY...since you dont have the rev limiter on there you run a HIGH risk of accidentally over revving yer motor and floating a rocker arm

Buy a stock SR ecu that isn't chipped. Then you should have a redline.

ECU is not always the case....did you do the swap???

I am not sure which wire it is...but my car had 5 busted wires when i got my car...and i could rev 8+k rpms and had no speed limit....i fixed those wires and now have speed limit and rev limit....2 wires were busted off the harness with the little connector by the batter and 3 were busted off the harness with big connector....but the kid had all the harness's running though the fender where the car was hitting them

fixed all that
