Want to convert my 2WD to a 4WD, possible?

So the more time and money I put into my R50 the more I regret it because I'm only 2WD. Realistically what would it take to convert it and how much do you think it would cost?

While i cant tell you the exact cost... i can stab at it and say it probably wouldnt be financially feasible

At the expense of converting to 4wd it might just be a better idea to sell your truck and buy a 4x4.

I have an entire front end sitting in my garage. I wish I was closer. It's an entire bolt in subframe from a 4wd with the differential, CVs, control arms, brakes, everything. I also have a transfer case and front driveshaft.

Dude that would be awesome..So what's a pickup drive to Colorado? That would be a pretty easy install, since he's got it completely unbolted and ready to go. Or you could just rock a baja lift...hell, I'm going to buy another R50 when I get back to Cali (2wd) just so I can long travel-double wishbone that sob. I think it would be sick as hell. Hey, Tyler, saw your update on Ronin..that tube front end looks killer! I'm gonna start collecting the gear for a SAS when I get back to Cali next Spring..if you don't mind, I'm gonna hit you up around then and get some info from ya (best locations to mount links, re-enforcements you did, etc..). I'm not gonna go the 4.5 route, but I think D44's, 35's, lockers and an Atlas will do the trick nicely. Empty, you could always go that route, too...f*ck IFS. It's junk and it is the major shortcoming in our rigs, IMO. If you're gonna dump the money anyway, I'd say hack it apart and go flexy!
