Want to beat my friends t28 with my little t25(seriously).....

aight, i got a friend who has a t28 powered 180sx his mods are:GTiR t28 upgrade3" exhaustbigger turbo elbowss equal lengths manifoldfront mount intercooler

But he cant run high boost due to him still running the stock 370'ss

But me on the other hand:stock t25bigger turbo elbowfully 3" straight piped w/test pipefront mount intercoolerstock 370'selectric fan setupelectronic fuel computerwalbro 255 fuel pumpnismo grounding kitvoltage stabilizerand CO2 intercooler cooler

what other mods will i need to beable to beat him???

a t28 also....

He may not be able to run more boost, but at only 12psi he will be flowing more CFM, so im sure he can still turn up the boost just to beat you once or twice. But it should be close if he stays at around 12-13psi or so.

Its a tuff call, it will be a close race as it is in my opinion...

Get bigger injectors...

yea he can run like 12psi max but i can push around 14-15psi(dont ask why...my t25 just can)

yea i do realize that my turbo wont last to long at that high of boost but i dont really care cuz ill be upgrading soon anyway...right now im jsut beffing up the engine to support a bigger turbo (such as fuel upgrades and sum internal upgrades) but right now i want to see if i could beat him and wat i else i need cuz due to his small injectors hes only runnin 14's and i kno with the right mods i can hit low 14's.....so anymore suggestions

dude, yall both suck at driving then... i ran 14.0 at 11 psi and I missed 3rd! if your running 15 psi, you should be able to run mid 13 with open diff. If you want to beat him, run race gas or NAAWWZ..

edit: well, since your in the bahamas, i don't know how much it'll effect your 1/4 mi time..

Yeah, not all tracks are the same. There are many different variables. Track prep, elevation, surface, temp, etc.

You could put nitrous on your car to beat him for sure. Otherwise... The T28 is a much nicer turbo than the T25. The dude will put down more power than you. It'll come down to driver if you want to win.

You've gotta spend as much as I've spent to be able to smoke people while not even trying (ran a 13.0@115 without launching).... But i'm even only at 15psi to show you how much a better tune and fuel will help.

you'll have a tough time actually pulling that off till you up grade your turbo. but if your that dead set on beating him jsut strip all of the interior out of your car. weight reduction is the cheapest mod that really works

yea i was nervous, get off my back! hehe, it was my first time competing and I had to race against an STi. It wasn't my first time at the track though. I've ran 13.78 with open diff and i believe 15 psi. that was my first time at the track. i KNOW i can do better than that. Getting a SS clutch line will help a lot too. hope to break that time since i got vlsd now. BTW, im running t25 with SMIC
