Want Tach In sentra

I Have a 1999 Sentra XE.The Intrument Cluster Does not have a tach. Does the gxe have a tach. And will the Gxe instument Cluster Fit In my XE? How can I get a tach in my sentra?

not knowing the answer to your specific question but adding another you will need the answer to

is will your XE correctly report the signal from the RPM being that it was not included in the factory cluster it may not be there..

Look for the blue wire with the orange stripe coming out of the back of the ecm....I have the exact same car and while I do not have a tachometer as of yet, that is the only thing I have been able to find while researching on how to put in an aftermarket tach......I don't know if the GXE has a tach, but I doubt that it would be a plug n play thing if it did.......good luck

Thanks. Ill probably go aftermarket. Ive seen a small sunray that I can mount on the bezel just in front of the steering wheel. But im not sure if I want to drill holes.

I apologize.....I could never find that darn blue wire with the orange stripe......the green wire off the distributor that points to the radiator is the one you need to get your signal from.....just finished my sunpro install
