want some feed back from you guys

ok so heres the deal. i bought an rb20 swap off a friend cause he wanted my ka. i put it in but in having problems with the wiring. i dont have all the parts for it yet.(the ignitor gotjacked up and he blew the turbo) but i was doing the wiring for my boost gauge and my a/f gauge, i was trying to get my boost gauge to light up with my gauge cluster but i cant get the cluster to light up. futher more i started checking fuses in te engine bay and the engine control unit wasnt getting power and the fuel pump wasnt getting power. when i got the harness from him there were a bunch of random wires that were disconnected. and now im completely lost. i talked to the local shop and they told me it would take about a mouth to go though it and it would cost about $950. now im an 18 year old kid i dont have that mony. i was thinking maybe trying to get a new harness from a cafrio and sending a spare ka harness to takara and get it rewired. idk what do you guys think. could takara fix it. i tired emailing them but they never hit me back. what would you guys do? thanx

Hey I didnt read the whole thread but I couldnt figure out why my r33 cluster wasnt lighting up when i got done wiring it and turns out you need the dimmer switch plugged in for it to work lol let me know if thats it...

Well for starters it won't take a month, maybe a few days. They just told you that because they didn't want to deal with wiring. Why don't you try and post up some pics of how bad the harness is. Also get yourself an FSM for your chassis and a multimeter. This will at least allow you to take care of any chassis wiring problems...

thanx, i have the fsm for the 240 but from what ive heard the skyline fsm isnt in english. idk the shop out here love to do wiring and they also love to charge alot. there just really slow cause there still learning nissan wiring

ok here are some of the things wrong with it-fuel gauge is way past full-cluster lit up for about 2 min then shut off wont come back on-seat belt light or ebrake light wont come on-when i turn on the headlights the radio shuts off

the only thing if done wiring wise is jumped the tach wire from the ka harness to the rb harness, spliced a wire into the ebrake wire for the turbo timer and i put in a turbo timer harness in. those are just some of the problems inside. ill post some pics of the chopped wires in the engine bay later. camera died.
