want to get some new spring but i don't have the money for the new strut yet. So which ya perfer so it won't kill my strut or f**K up the new spring. The eibach pro-kit or the sportline lower spring.i'm looking more towards the performance.

I have the same delimma, although I already bought my springs. I bought the Eibach Pro-Kit. They're said to be very well-handling springs...more oriented towards performance than lowering, which is what I wanted. I really don't have issue with stock height.

Anyway, you could always do what I'm doing. Buy the springs and just hold on to them in the box until you can afford new struts. :) I bought my Eibachs because I had a chance to get them for a pretty well discounted price and went for it.

The Pro-Kit will give a 1.2" drop in the front and 1" drop in the rear, according to the Eibach website.

And even if they've been changed once, they are probably still shot.

struts should be changed every 80,000-100,000kmi replaced my struts 10,000km before i lowered the car to mcpherson struts and i dont have any troublesyou might have problems with the stock struts bottoming out

but you wanna wait till u have money anywaysafter changing struts or springs you have to realign the wheelsso ull save yourself alot of work and the cost of realignment if you just wait

I don't know but it seems like I have a lucky 240 or something cause I put on some jamex springs which dropped it 2" and I never had bad camber or problem with my stock struts. My car has 177,000 miles on it too. How strange? :D
