Hi - i installed a Stillen cold air intake - but would like to put in a mass air flow sensor. Don't know if the A1 Cardone Mass Air Flow Sensor is the way to go nor if it will fit with the stillen setup. I was also told that I should have reset the computer when I installed the stillen - not sure how to do that.

Any help would be great!!!

What is wrong with existing OEM mass air temperature sensor?

Matched and calibrated for oem ecu.

Since it's matched and calibrated to the ECU, Can you mix MAFs from different years to different ECUs?

For the G35 it may be different but I doubt it...

For any sort of "resetting" you need to do, a battery unplug overnight should take care of it.

Not really follow special prodeedure in FSM to calibrate ecu at idle to each replacement MAF...............even a brand new MAF element must be "learned" by ecu just as you calibrate throttle position units inside cabin to throttle motors.

Life gets complicated after 2002.

I think Nissan started getting less precise MAFs, so the output voltage varies from unit to unit. Their solution? Teach the ECU what it's supposed to see based on the individual MAF... kind of crappy, but that's the impression I got from an old post around here somewhere.

Ever since Nissan went to replacable MAF/IAT modules that bolt into a housing................afterall the housing rarely goes bad just change active module part.
