Not sure what you can do without voiding warranty except for a drop in K&N filter. As far as the horn honk when you arm the system...press the lock and unlock button at the same time and leave it pressed for about 3-5 seconds. Your lights will flash and this will be the confirmation that it programmed. Press the lock button and it should honk.
