Interesting. A public Beheading is a rather harsh penalty but I think the execution had a little bit more to do with the killing of two people and leaving the scene of the crime than the drifting that led up to it.

Beheading is usually reserved for much more deliberate criminal acts around there, so it's apparent they are making an example of that particular idiot.

If they adopt it as national policy to behead anyone caught drifting like that, then that's something for sure...
