Didn't anyone else notice that the motor you get with that car only produces 250hp?You can get a turbo one with 350hp, but the one in it is 250hp...

For a car that looks like THAT, I'm a little disappointed.Lots of people here would wipe their arse with that car!

the car probably weighs in the 1400 pound range, 250 hp will get you moving damn quick

Ninja, my man, there is no one here that will wipe their arse with that car. There are a few that could probably beat it in a drag race, but not on a road course. Not a chance. The Diasio D962 (the one with the Yamaha motor) has the power to weight ratio of a Viper. It has a chassis designed specifically for road racing, racing slicks are stock equipment and the car in reality is not much larger than a go-kart. It's smaller and significantly lighter than a Miata. They are very cool and serve their purpose VERY well.

You have an open invitation to come to Indy and stay at my place night before the next open track event, which is where these cars originate. You'll understand when you see them run.

Hate to say this ninjak, but I'm gonna have to strongly disagree with you here. No one here has the power-to-weight ration that this thing appears to have. Think about it: 250 hp, 1,000 pounds? Consider that some of the fastest street bikes being built are 120 hp and 500 (?) pounds. It's ugly as hell, but I'm certain it's faster than s***.

your welcome. I have seen little tiny autcorss spring cars, only like 110hp, but weight MAYBE 800lbs...those things haul ***. its like a motorcycle with 4 little tiny wheels...I got a lot of respect for power/weight ratios, and power/displacement ratios, I did come from an engineering school after all..(I dropped out after 1.5 years..but hey!)..

also, I think a 240sx lightened and aboout 240hp would prove very fun, and I plan on trying this out, I gotta get my car curb/corner weighed soon to see where I start at, with some things already out...

I'll race him after im done(turbo and lightened with a set of 235-40-17 Advan A42 competition tires and my suspension)....

so like I'll race that in 2 years.-chetEDIT: anyone notice this part "Optional Red Devil ceramic-coated titanium rotors which will save an additional 20+ lbs. " I want some of those!...and the money to buy them....I wonder if brembo can make me those.

I'll look forward to seeing that! I'm no engineer, but I have seen the Diasio wipe the track with modded Vipers, so I'll be even giddier when I see a 240 do it!

You could probably buy some of those rotors, and then drill them. : )

Here is a slideshow from the last track event at Putnam Park near Indy. I was not able to be at this one unfortunately, but you guys might find it interesting.

I think Daunttless has already seen it.

And I don't care if anyone loves me, because I've seen all the love that Tino gets and I want no part of it! :icesangel
