hey guys i was curious about these throttle body spacers that i found for my altima. it's got the KA24. just curious if anyone has tried them out or has heard anything about them. cuz i don't wanna get one if it's like the tornado knock off bulls***. and also what would be the best set of headers, brand wise? i appreciate any input.

I just saw this so ill help, chill out, usually u get a fair bit of views even if no one replies because of curiosity. TB spacers are used to reduce heat transfer from the engine to this part, same goes for an intake manifold spacer. this can reduce heat transfer which means incoming air will be cooler= little more power. engine gains very, i dont know what you will get, but you will probably get something

I would imagine that gains from this part will be minimal.

at wade001, thanks for the response man. it just kinda blows me away tho. this place was much more responsive about 4 years ago but people have things to see and people to do.

at downedzephyr, seriously? maybe if i put an intake, headers, exhaust, and dropped some cams into this thread, you think people would've responded to my thread any faster? it's quite self explanatory: want some opinions, check out thread, read thread, post reply. but before you post a reply, make sure you got ur big boy pants on. :)

an argument doesn't need to happen, sometimes you dont get much in response which can be annoying. but if it was that i think there would be more :P. gains vary, for some engines it's a nice gain, with an IM spacer it would probably give more then an intake. I'm sure you can find out, I dont really know the gains for you.

im not tryin to start anything. i'm just looking for opinions because this is a place to come to for just that. maybe i should've put a "c'mon guyz" after my post earlier. then the emotion of the post would have been changed.

but once again i appreciate the input. i was lookin around on the net and noticed some people bashing them, then other people praising them. i can see the sense in how they work, but i would imagine that the gains would not be substantial. but air that is cold is better for the motor. they weren't expensive either so i may just go ahead and get it. i can post back up in here when it's installed and give my research lol

It sounds kind of dubious to me, but go for it and let us know.
