Alright... Most my life I have been a wally world fan.... However, in my area thats where all the hick/rednecks are (difference?) in addition to every mother in the county with loud and obnoxious children.

But I have seen the light... Target. Target is where its at... It seems as if every MILF in town is in target... For most items other than food, target gets my vote. Even if its a little more out of the way, its much more peaceful, quiet, and cleaner in Target...

Meijer, since its newer (in my area) than all the others, seems to be the melting pot... A variety of people, but generally there are more old people... Its like the best of both worlds, of target and walmart.. Prices of walmart, with the "scenery" of target, with some old people thrown in there... Plus they have a grocery... I also noticed their parking lots seem to be much larger, and everyone isnt in gridlock trying to find a good spot.... Spaces are a little wider, which is good for people with big sedans.....

Kmart, is just going downhill..... Nowhere what it used to be.... Basically it is a combination of all the BAD things about the above ones, with not much good... Usually the only reason you goto Kmart is because you need something, and you see a Kmart nearby... You think to yourself "Dammit i dont want to go to Kmart, but oh so convenient"...

So ladies and gents, lets hear your opinon!

Wal-Mart sells Mobil 1 5w40, carb cleaner, frozen pizza, DVDs, running shorts, ice cream sandwiches, and the latest issue of Motor Trend all at 2am.

Never been to Meijer.

K-Mart rocks when theyre going out of business. Their store closing sale prices are insane-awesome.

Another cool thing about Wal-Mart is when traveling -- at 3 in the morning in the middle of Wyoming youre drowsy and need some food and stimulation or a parking lot to sleep in. What could be more convenient than Wal-Mart?

Target smells like popcorn and I hate bright red.

Target is much better than Walmart. Better stuff... WAY less ghetto... cleaner, far less white trash, more organized.... etc etc.

these are the only things these stores should be used for.

Walmart = last resort, electronics anytime.Target=clothes. Won't fall apart in a few months like walmartMaijir= what?K-mart= beleave it or not they are better with bath stuff then any of these stores. Great selection

Though the popcorn smell of target is annoying.

I would have to vote for Meijer. Walmart is the closest for me. Target use to be on the same line as Walmart, but then they modernized their stores and started stocking a little higher end products. Never go to KMart anymore.bud

I like Target a lot more than Walmart or K-Mart. I've never heard of that other wacky sounding store you posted up there.

Target has decent clothes, sells iPod accessories, has a good DVD selection and may possibly be able to get me a copy of the limited edition Halo 2.

Besides, I wouldn't have been able to buy my "Cut your mullett!" t-shirt at Walmart or K-Mart. They don't stock those since too many of their patrons would be deeply offended.

Walmart is the best for food shopping/some electronics, but Target is good for everything else.

If they could just combine like the Constructacons then we'd be in shopping heaven.

I voted walmart because I can pick up doritos, oil, and audio equiptment after midnight. I have noticed the milfs flocking toward the Super Target since it has opened. I like Walmart pricing. Also where else can you get ammo at midnight. I also love the transparant red tape and duct tape in the car repair isle at walmart. That and I don't have people asking every two seconds if they could help me. They also don't try getting you to buy a warrantee because they can carelesss if it breaks, its cheap enough to buy another.

Meijer is only in a few states so far. I believe it started out of Kalamazoo, MI.

The only reason I go to Wally World is it is open all night, and nothing else in this one horse town is.

Only been in the Target once. Looks nice, but I am a 3rd shifter, so if it aint open from dusk till dawn, it dont do me much good.

And the Super K here went out of buisness about two years ago. Walmart is in tranformation to be Super Walmart. Never heard of the other place.

I like Target because their merchandise are a bit better in quality IMO, & looks good at the same time.

Walmart is good because it's a 1-stop shop. Getting everything at once. I like them for convience & they're 24 hours.

K-mart not so much. Usually not organized.

Meijer never heard of it.

I guess meijer is only in certain areas.

Seems like most of you like walmart because its open all the time... I have also found that meijer and walmart are nearly identical in pricing (some difference give or take either way).... I dont know if you guys do this, but here when a group of us get bored, we go and just raid walmart.. Most likely dont buy anything, just roam around...

I do agree with Jesda though... I was at target (I think it was a target, i remember I was in a store) and they didnt have mobil 1 synthetic 0w40 . Walmart usually has the 0w40 and its a little cheaper than what autozone charges... Meijer and walmart have a better automotive section, as far as fluids and detailing stuff than do most auto parts stores.....! Not to mention cheaper

walmart for me. always open, and i'm always able to find what i need when i go there. haven't failed me yet.

target - exceptionally clean. clean to the point of being sterile. well organized. feels like i'm shopping in a hospital. imo, a snooty upscale walmart.

k-mart - they're still around?!?!

meijer - what the heck is a meijer?

The only reason I ever step foot into a wal-mart is to take a look at the people and realise how great of shape I'm in. There isn't many Wal-Marts around my old house, the closest one is 15 minutes. My dad has to meet with the heads of Wal-Mart all the time and lets just say the stuff I hear from him is less then exciting.(But then again its stuff that can be taken by opinion, such as putting a wal-mart in every town)

I gotta vote target too, that's where the cool kids go.

they don't chop the CD's to suit them, and they offer better cheap clothes...

Sam's Club rocks however.

Walmart is prob my favorite, but Target does have some cool stuff. They have some very "designerly" kind of stuff (lamps, funiture, rugs, etc...) and they have the Micheal Graves line of stuff (famous architect).

The Walmart closest to me is just plain ghetto (sorry but theres no other word). You can always find someone with a coat full of jewelry or a hand full of watches trying to sell them to you for a dub ($20). Every empolyee is rude, or can't help you. I was in the automotive section just 2 days ago at 10pm and got to hear an entire conversation between 3 LOUD employees talking about their boss, how customers are stupid, and about their personal lives (and some of what should have been kept personal). Lines always long. 20 cash registers and 2 cashiers. I try to leave but I have to stand in line to have my bag searched and merchandise checked from my receipt. One thing I don't understand is the McDonalds that's inside, and then the McDonalds thats 1 block away...hmmm. Why do the kids like sitting on the Ronald McDonald statue or whatever it's called? It's like there's a line for that or something.

I finally get outside to get begged for money 3 times, then looking across the parking lot I see the same car I saw coming in still circling the lot with extremely loud music playing just showing off and trying to pick up women from his car...at Walmart. I get in my car to drive out of the parking lot and thats a 10 minute process because you know how in the ghetto EVERYBODY and their momma is in the street....ARRRGGHH! BTW it's only open til 11pm here. I know not all Walmarts aren't like this but I can't pick it because of all that. Target (pronounced Tar-Jay because of it's higher prices) is better even though it's less than mile away from Walmart. Nice displays, clear prices, nice helpful employees, and no beggers. K-Mart is getting less and less popular around here and is actually located in a "redneck area" (sorry) called Oakley, Ca. It's sooooo dead and looks almost like Walmart inside..CLUTTERED.

While we don't have Meijer out here, I have been to the one several times back home in Indianapolis, In. That store actually get's my pick by far. I could spend hours in there getting all the things I need, and then the things I want in the same store. However since it's not in the Bay Are, Ca. I have to select Target.

On this note:

Oil sale aty Meijers!

$24 for a case of Mobil1 , thats 4 per bottle!, They ahve the 0w-20, the 10w-30 and the 15-w50 on sale maybe the 5w-30 am not sure.

$17.94 for a case of valvoline SynPower, (I like the SynPower in 10w-30 or in 5w-40) That $3 per quart for a quart of SynPower!I found this at Meijers on South Preston, not sujre about the otehr meijers, work a look.

Just wanted to let everyone know.

For the most part I agree. But, I like to go to K-Mart and buy Martha Stewart products at %95 off . Not even the almighty Walmart can come close to those prices .

Anyway, I voted for Walmart. I am a die hard Walmart fan. If they sold a car, I'd probably be the first to buy it . But that's just me. Everything there is soo cheap(price wise, not quality wise). Can't beat $3.38 for a quart of Mobile 1 Full Synthetic .

I understand where your coming from about Target. I have seen soo many MILFs at that place . It would seem that Walmart attracts loud obnoxious people and children, and then come the red necks, and then comes me. But hey, nothing wrong with going down to the local Walmart to pick up a Buck/Gap tooth date now is there?

Fred... Looks like I'll be going to meijer/walmart sometime!!! I will ask for the Q real quick, if you think the synpower is as good as M1, or if M1 is really worth the extra money...

For 99% of driving situations the SynPower is as good as the M1.The M1 is superior mostly in extended drain and extreme cold start (-20F etc), the SynPower keeps stuff cleaner IMO.

I almost picked up some SynPower 10w-30 for the Z. but needed only 5 quarts sale is for a case only and the Z uses no oil at all...

Thanks fred...

I'll go out and see if I can find some 5w40 Synpower... You think itd be safe to run it at like 4 month intervals (approx 3500 miles), but with lots of short trip city driving... if not, the normal 3 month interval si fine.....

Goddamn its bad when you hijack your own thread

Meijer since they have groceries and a great selection.

Target has some good stuff, but not a great selection of anything.

Kmart has some good deals on clothes and such with an "OK" selection of other stuff. limited foods and relatively no checkout staff.

WalMart is the same as Meijer, but with some lower prices. Unfortunately, the hicks ruin it to the point I don't go at all anymore. People need to wash their clothes more often, tend to their kids, and not let their overweight teenage daughters run around in bloated hip huggers and short shirts showing their flab hanging all over.
