Before you say it, yes my fuel pressure is to high. I'm working with Synapse to get my problem fixed.

Synapse is by far the best BOV. Friends of mine have SSQV's, Tial's and many other brands. Synapse reacts stupid fast. Even if you let of the throttle just a little bit it will "flutter" as it slowly releases boost. There is no compressor surge and no dialing in. Hook up the two vacuum line and it's connected and reacting perfectly. It remains open in vacuum and is held shut by boost. Since its open in vacuum you'll have to recirc but it helps to increase spool time. On the stock T25 there is no lag. I have full boost by like 2000 RPM. It may even be less then that. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!!!!!

Here's what I found on an ebay ad:"Fast-acting designFunctions as a blow-off, diverter, or pop-off valveIncludes 1.25" recirculation fittingUS Patent #6,863,260Eliminates the diaphragm with a multi-tier self-centering piston actuatorSignificantly reduces or eliminates compressor surgeWill not leak boostAwarded "Best New Product" at SEMA'08"

That last line (if true) gets me interested....although I will need recirc and not sure if this can easily be made to do that....even tho it says it comes with the fitting. I've been out of the "parts buying" scene for awhile but this is worth checking into.

I have heard rumors from a friend that the synapse design promotes fast wear of the internals, may not last as long other BOV's. But I love using the SSQV with megasquirt.

Quote »Synapse Engineering has redesigned the Blow Off Valve with a piston actuator instead of using the common diaphragm. The equates to fastest response time on the market. The pull type design stays closed under boost and uses synchronic technology to control the release point of the blow off valve. The lack of a diaphragm increases reliability and durabilty, with no need to replace worn internals.[/quote]What you hear I'm pretty sure is just a rumor.
