I've been having problems for some time and decided it was time to replace my 15 year old fuel pump with a new walbro.
I did the install but no fuel is being pumped. Checked fuse and that's fine. When I turn the key on I can hear it run for 4-5 seconds. It's just not pumping any gas. Checked the wiring three times now and confirmed it is wired correctly with the multi-meter.
Any ideas or did I get a defective fuel pump?
Thanks for any help. I did a search but only found instructions to check everything I have already checked.
*SOLVED* I pulled the pump again and found that all was installed correctly BUT the factory plug that came with the walbro (the one you solder in, that plugs into the pump itself) came wired backwards from the factory. Negative was set to positive and positive to negative on the walbro plug so it was running backwards.
