when I turn hard, my rb20 almost dies and then comes back...has any one experienced this? even with my tank half. could it be going bad? I will install a fuel pressure gauge as soon as possible.

I pulled the pump and inspected it, all looked ok, except for the tank seal, it was very stretched, had to modify it, I'm not sure if the tank was maintaining its pressure. I dont think low tank pressure would cause the car to loose power on hard turns.

My seal was very stretched also, but you just have to jam it in there and twist on the big locking cap. Is your FPR ok?

Didn't someone have an issue with only turning right and their car would die?? This sounds very familiar for some reason, but would have been a long time ago.

And gas tank pressure doesn't increase fuel pressure. Well I shouldn't say zero, but a negligible amount. The seal is mainly important for keeping fumes in the tank and EVAP system instead of in your car.

sounds like an iac related issue like the ps switch not being wired in or a super low idle.
