Some of you have seen my post on Zilvia. But I'm starting to get alittle desperate. So now i'm posting on here,

It's a 89 240sx SE Hatchback w/ a redtop SR20DET. the pumps i use are walbro.

So afew weeks ago my fuel pump went out at my friends house. i didnt hear the buzzing of the fuel pump so it was safe to say it was the fuel pump. i didnt want to work on my car that ngiht cause it was 2 in the morning, i left it there for the night and came back. well i came back and checked the fuses under my hood and the relay plug in the back of my hatch and blew into it to clean out any dust. well it work i took it home and turned off. later that night i tried to turn it on and it didnt work again.

Went out and bought a new fuel pump, walbro GSS 341. i pulled my old fuel pump out to find that, that walbro i had in was a GSS 342 (previously installed by the old owner 3 years back a month before purchase). non the less it had work for the past 3 years and have given no such problems till now. i continued to put in the new one. well after that i put it all back together and tried to turn the car back on and well still i tried to turn it over but still nothing and again no buzzing sound from hte pump.

Any suggestions to what i should replace now? (dont say the car)

I've checked all fuses, connections. Nothing! I'm really frustated right now and im about to push my car off a cliff.

so i got a new fuel pump relay and used in it the place of EGI Pump and the EGI relay both still didn't fix the problem.

I'm thinking it is a connection problem i heard you can hot wire the fuel pump directly from the battery how would i go about doing this. i know i'd have to run a long wiire from my battery to my fuel pump but i dont know which i should plug where and what not.

if you replaced the relay and it didn't work then that circuit in your ecu is bad. Yes you can hot wire the fuel pump to a switch...or a different acc source.

Hardwire it...you already answered that question. for the record, you can buy an after market fuel pump relay kit and bypass the current setup...use an alternative acc source to turn the pump on and off, or use a switch...or replace your ecu...

Alright I had the same problem about a a while back.. What I did was jumping the relay... to see if the pump comes on. If the pump come on then it might be your ecu.. For me after jumping it a couple of time the pump just came back on without jumping it no more.
