Need to know:

is anyone running a walbro fuel pump (255/190) on a stock ka (stock fpr)?

what kind of fuel pressure are you getting?

the only place ive found info about this was on zilvia. and only one person check his fuel pressure after dropping in the walbro pump that had good pressure readings. I need more confirmation on ppl that have stock ka & walrbo pump.

please post freely while i sleep behind this sofa.

uhh well i didnt do a reading on my last 240 with the pump....but...if i were to check it it would involve me cutting into my fuel like...and i dont really want to do that..and let me ask you this why would it matter???you could put a fule pump that pumps 50 gallons an hour but..its not going to make your car go faster unless either A:your old fuel pump bit the dust or B:your boosted...i mean you might notice a little bit better driving..but..it wont blow your socks off...i loved mine and i would gladly put another one in my new 240 in a heartbeat if i cared enough..but my advice...DO IT

what the hell you talking about!

all you need is a plastic tee, fuel pressure gauge, some hoses & clamps. no cutting.Does it matter? YES, if the fuel pressure is too high it will run richer then normal.

i need to replace my old pump...

I did as a matter of fact run a walbro fuel pump before I installed my SR20DET. I did not see my emissions readings change nor did I see my mileage drop relative to the stock fuel pump.

In the end it depends on what you're doing. If you're going to go turbo sometime soon and your fuel pump is on its way out, go for the walbro. If you are planning to keep the engine stock, find another stock fuel pump that plenty of people sell now when they change to the walbro.

Won't the fuel output still be limited by the injectors and ecu. It shouldn't have a dramatic effect on the A/F ratio where you have to worry about running too rich.
