skoolymarm got his CA clip the other day and we just finished pulling the ka24e out...i have a 255 walbro that im giving/sellin to him....will this be good for the CA with the stock 370's? or is it a bit much...?

you're fine... thats what the fuel pressure regulator is for. you could run a walbro with a stock KA and still be fine.

I ran a walbro on my CA and still am running it on my KA.

Add me to the "I use a Walbro" list. The only complaint that I have about it is how loud it is, not with flow.

I installed one on my KA with 250K miles on it and it didn't give me any trouble.

i wonder if the walbro is louder than a z32 fuel pump, anyone know ?

I would assume so. I mean the Z32 one is meant to oem quietness so stupid people wouldnt complain of the noise. But then ofcourse noise can be suppressed with sound deadning crap.

hey Kevin, Kris (parts guy at Nissan with the eclipse) is running a z32 tt pump and its LOUD! alot louder than my walbro... just turn up the music or roll down the windows and you'll never even know its there:)

thanks...i just got done reading up on the wiring for skoolymarms(jovan) CA....if we work on it tonite, i'll be installing the walbro and starting on the wiring myself...i hope he trust me with it....thanks again for your replies guys....learnin more and more about the motor i dont have...lol

Can the FPR handle the 255's flow at idle? Any solid data to confirm or deny this?

THey don't call them Whinebros for nothing ;) Some kits come with a sleeve that fits over the pump to reduce noise.

They aren't that loud, I was running twin externals, and that was loud. If the tunes are on or you are giving it a little bit, you cant hear it, at Idle you can

i cant hear mine at all unless im outside the car or the key is turned to 'start" but i havnt cranked the car yet (when the pump runs for a few seconds to pressurize the fuel system).
