Alright so, my 89' coupe with a red top SR is having some weird fuel pressure problems. It currently has a Walbro 255 pump and a Nismo adjustable regulator. It seems to do fine for about the first 30 mins of driving, around 38-40psi at idle and 45-54 psi driving, but then the pressure will start to flucuate anywhere from 55-68 psi at idle or driving. Usually i can faintly hear the pump buzzing but tongiht when the pressure started going nuts the pump was making a really loud and clear unusually hight pitched noise. it had a stock regulator on it but i broke and the car started running 60+ psi all the time so i got the Nismo one. It seemed to do fine for a few days but now its doing this. It is like the fuel pump has too much power going to it sometimes or something.

thanks for any help

weird, the only thing i could suggest are take the walboro out and check the connections, then if they are fine, call walboro and tell them you got a faulty unit.
