Anyone ever used one of these as a replacement pump after your stock pump died... I just ordered one from Z1 and was wondering how they perform ?

Stock TT pump is better but Walbro 225 will work fine with stock TT setup. I'm running one with my swap.

Yeah it's basically stock I'm running around 400 hp ...full exhaust jwt EPROM ecu n popcharger stage one ipp long block stock turbos greddy boost controller 13.5 psi ... I think the walboros are good up 550 hp then you need to run 2 of them ... Glad I found someone who is using one... So you don't have any problems with your pump ? How you been nolimit ? I'm finally getting done with my build but my fuel pump crapped the bed just when I got my new motor in :(

I actually just got my car running right (more or less) it finally boosts and makes big yokohama flavored smoke clouds :D I'm running stock boost ATM and have no problems but yeah from what I've heard the walbros are good to around 500 so you should be fine.

I have a question .... The walboro pump don't have a damper or a remote pick up on It and the stock pump does .... Do you just throw the walboro in as is ?

Sorry man, I don't usually get on at home (too much screen time at work) Um I just reused the stock pickup and set the walbro in the stock location.

Id just stick with a stock TT pump unless you're planning on running 800+ HP.

Yeah that's what I ended up doing just reusing the stock pick up line ... So you didn't have any problems with the damper not being on there ?

There is nothing wrong with a Walbro. Been running a 255 on my son's supra TT for about 7 yrs now and it runs perfectly.

Also, it isn't necessarily true that "a Walbro will not outperform an OEM pump." The Walbro GSS341 will outflow the Nissan OEM pump. If you look at the referenced page, you will see the Nissan 300zx pump pumps 241 lph @ 13.5V while the Walbro GSS341 flows 262 lph @ 13.5v.
