Wal-Mart can extend the life of your exhaust?

am i right or am i right?

i was grabbing a new battery at wal mart other day and just went looking for a new spray paints. there was this high temp resistant paint for hot rod exhaust manifolds.

im guessing, if u have a new car or new exhaust, can that paint save it from rust?

I mean just spray the whole can all over the exhaust pipe and it will surely stay there for a couple of years right?

if most people agree, we can call it a theory.

Yep...we did that to my dad's old '83 Silverado. Went from ugly rust to attractive black, and the paint lasted years until we sold it.

You don't need any of that aluminized **** when you have good quality stainless steel...

well seriously, if you have an old exhaust, not that old, but old.can you sand out the rust and just paint all over it? quick fix for "efficient spending" students?

is this gonna work?

edit: also paint has to be black to perfectly radiate the thermal energy. no clear coat required

Right, it works great. And yes, black is the best. It looks better and has the thermal radiation effects one would desire in an exhaust coating. Plus, black is always better, no matter what.

Not just good for efficient spending students, it works good for everyone who doesn't feel like buying a new exhaust.
