Cold One,

Have you posted this in the KA-T forum? Well apparently not since you only have one post. I'll copy your thread to that forum.

I purchased an NSPORT turbo kit in October and still don't have it, nor can I get an estimated time when I will get it. It seems that NSPORT is having problems with one of their suppliers. I'm just wondering if there is anyone else out there who bought a kit and is waiting?

Hey mean green, who did you order your kit thru?I ordered mine thru Accelerated Concepts and I was told that it would take 2-4 weeks to get my kit. I thought this was a pretty sweet deal but now it's about 12 weeks later and I got nothin. I'm kinda choked cause if I knew it would have taken so long I would have put together my own system.

hey frozen r u the guy that emailed me? jsut to let everyone else know i ordered my nsport kit through nsport also, i too was qutoed 2-4 weeks to get the kit. i sent my money order on may1st with 2-3 day mail. i recieved the kit august 28th. ben at accelerated concepts seemed like he cared but was slow or never called back when he said he was goin to find out what was goin on. i was told i could get some stuff at whole sale like a hks ssqv but their price was over $300. the reason why i ordered through them was cuz i was told 2-4 weeks if i knew it was goin to be that long i would have made my own kit for much less

Yeah man it sounds all too familiar. Ben never responds to any of my emails and I have to phone him to ask him anything. He seems like he cares when I talk to him. He did tell me that anything else I'd buy through him he would sell at wholesale. Did you buy anything else through him and what were his "wholesale" prices like? I asked for prices on a coil-over kit, full exhaust system, and clutch kit but he never got back to me. I'm pretty disapointed with their service.

Does anyone have a new number for Accelerated Concepts? I tried phoning there but the number 1-850-651-4889, has been disconnected. I hope I'm not getting ripped off.

yea it was exactly the same with me. the wholesale prices werent very good. i went with them cuz i think it was davEee posted that they were good guys to work with. i dont think u would be getting ripped off as long as they processed the order. once they do it all up to nsport the kit ships from nsport. if u can call nsport i did to see what was up and they told be about the backorder. of course they also said they would ship out what they had and ship the rest later but jsut shipped everything like a month and a half later

It's nice to see that there are still some companys out there that actually provide good service. Seriously, why would any honest, self-respecting businessman disconnect his phone? I started a new thread in the General Forums section titled "I think I got ripped off" Check it out and tell your friends. I really need to get a hold of Ben Reese. Does anyone have any Florida connections to check out his shop? It is in Eglin AFB, located in the North-West.

I've finally talked to Alex from Nsport and this is what he had to tell me. First off, he had know idea who I was. He said whatever concerns I had they were between Ben and myself. Lame.Ben placed an order but it did not have a forwarding address or a name for who it was being built for. He did put down half of the money, which gives me a little bit of hope. After Nsport had gotten all of their back-order s*it together the kit was sitting on the shelf for two weeks. They tried contacting Ben but were unsuccessful. So they sold the kit to someone else. Nice. I can't believe that my kit was actually finished sitting on a shelf and they decide to sell it to someone else, that's more gay than three men in a bed.Alex from Nsport has delt with Ben a great deal in the past. He has sold more kits for him than anyone else, and Alex assures me that this is completely out of the ordinary for Ben.Nsport is not going to build me a kit or do anything for me. They say this is between myself and Ben. So until I'm able to get a hold of Ben I'm SOL. It appears that he has fallen of the face of the earth.

Good news. Ben finally emailed me and told me that he has been away on urgent business for the past two weeks. I thought I'd never hear from him again. I feeling quite relieved but we're still working out this mess.

3 words....Better Business Bureau...come on guys....if companies screw you, then let it be known. don't just take it up the @$$....it's things like this that piss me off....if someone tells me something, then i'll give them the benefit of the doubt...but to not even give me feedback, there is NO EXCUSE for this.

Unfortunately, they can't do much. Hell, the only influence they may have over anyone are those businesses who are members or those who want to become members. And at that, from what my friend, who is a member, tells me is that they can put up the complaints for people to access, cancel your membership, or deny your membership if you were looking to join. They may contact the business, but ultimately, they can't force their hand.

What the heck, I don't know how they actually sell any kits. I know that they are off for Christmas and have no intention of building any kits until after the New Year. Hose connectors, do they have to get these from the center of earth or grow a rubber tree in the correct molded form for their special kit? I have filed a complaint against Accelerated Concepts with the BBB and the FTC. The BBB have been in contact with him, they responded very quickly. I think less then a week. But I don't know if they can actually do anything. Maybe just cause some minor iritations.Hope you have better luck with Nsport.

yes, i understand this. but the decision to file a complaint is a channel that is available to consumers. we as the general public should try to take advantage of all avenues that are available and hope that this will deter the particular company in question to reconsider its business practices, and give warning to those that would be its potential customers.

in a way, we here at nico are doing just what is intended by notifying potential consumers and allowing them to make a decision as to where they will make their purchases from. i think that after reading the information posted here in this forum, i for one will definately NOT be doing business with Accelerated Concepts, and i would hope that NSPORT will take some action with Accelerated Concepts due to the fact that they are a dealer for the NSPORT kits.

i also realize that people are more prone to telling stories about their bad experiences while they tend to be more reserved about the good experiences.........but due to this thread, i will stand by my decision to not do business with this company.

Well, I think things maybe starting to come around. Ben from Accelerated Concepts has been in contact with me quite frequently and is assuring me that my turbo kit will be built and delivered as soon as possible. He did not fall off the face of the earth as reported earlier but had some personal matters to deal with that took precident over business. I'm quite confident that he will pull through and deliver the goods. Till then, I'm still waiting.............

Ben Reese is a good man, he did have some urgent personal matters to attend to when the phone's were off. I've dealt with him on numerous occasions, along with Nsport, their both great companies. I hope everything works out for you man. I waited 3 months for my Nsport it, it was well worth the way 2 years ago.

Finally!! My Nsport kit is on the way on I should have it on Friday. For my troubles and extreme patience Alex from Nsport is upgrading my wastegate to a Tial, free of charge. I can say that both Ben and Alex have lived up to their word and are sorry that my order was bunged up. I'm sure that future orders will be dealt with in a different manner and hopefully no one else will have to wait as long as I did.I can't wait to feel the boost!

I used to help out in the same shop of the owners that let Ben use. I can say honestly that Ben tends to over book himself at times. Currently he is in the military working the swing shift 3pm-11pm. During the day he is taking care of local customers as well as his long distance customers. He was planning on getting out of the military last I knew, which means he is probably spending some time getting his personal matters straight for the civilian life. Not only that but being a married man myself, I know he needs to get some time in with the old lady. Also I haven't seen him for a couple month's, but I know if he said he had something personal to take care he wasn't just B.S.'ing to cover his a$$. So although it may not be an excuse, it sure is a reason his business may have been slightly on the back burner.
