If you can put a LS1 in a 240sx. Hmm.. That mean you can do the Lingerfelter upgrade?

there is many lingenfelter upgrades, not just one specific one. There is a red z06 around here in town that is completely build and supercharged with lingenfelter parts. It was sent down to indianapolis and was track tuned by professionals there. It has had numerous videos on the internet. Funny thing is, the owner is a 40 year old man and goes cruising with his wife all the time. I see the car almost everyday in the summer on my way to work if i go by his house.

except a LT or LS series engine up fornt would screw your road course abilities due to the weight of the engine up front...

Well If you have enough money for a full lingenfelter upgrade, you should be able to move the engine low and back. :D

weight is overrated here folks. Extreme power overcomes that. You can get suspension to match the increased weight.

no you cant. geeze. inertial load is a function of weight, grip is a function of inertial load, thusly weight affects maximal grip. try it sometime:

lap two cars, one say 1600lbs and another 3,000lb around a short curvy road coarse, I gaurantee the lighter car would win, regardless of the engine power of the 3,000lb car.

in fact, one of the best motoring videos demostrated this by running a mr-s race preped and lightened(and corner weighed) at 190ps versus a S15 prepped at 300+ps, and the mr-s won because it was over 400lbs lighter...

of course, if you can afford to drop an LS1 in your 240, you can afford to get a lingerwhoozil done to your car too

I'm betting the V8 up front makes for a trip to understeer city...

a twin turbo V8 would however make for killer ET's:D
