I love K&N also. I've ran them on most of my cars; however, they do not make one for the 07-08 models yet. Being the impatient person I am, I ordered the INJEN. Let me tell you this, and this is coming from a K&N junkie.... INJEN ROCKS!! I was skeptical about the INJEN and couldn't imagine myself paying almost $300 for a WAI, but since my install, I would pay even more for it! It's that good. Just the sound alone is worth it. A dude in a G just asked me what I had under the hood yesterday as I drove up to a local Starbucks. I told him it was an INJEN and he said it sounded like his car. We got to talking and I tried to convince him to sell me his 19" Ray's, but he didn't bitedldjros69 wrote:Wow once again this thread has died! K and N is my fav brand. I cant wait til they come out with some sort of intake for my a/c
Well the fujita WAI has been proven 12whp on the dyno, an exhaust will probably net another 9 or 10whp so yes thats pretty believable.dldjros69 wrote:Thank you for the very detailed explanation and pictures. I love it. The vids are great, it sounds throaty as hell.
I want some sort of intake for my car, but cant seem to find any out there.
I was told by the guy who sold me the car that i was going to be able to get a nismo upgrade (intake and exhaust) for less than a G. That upgrade would give me 20 HP. Ill believe it when i see it.
i wouldnt mind a battery in the trunk, i would do it tonight for a sweet complete cold air intake form k and n.generic808 wrote:Y a battery in the trunk
There's a guy on Nissanclub.com who had his car fitted with a Fujita WAI from their factory (lucky mofo) and his before hp was 233whp and after the WAI it was 245whpEzeebMOS3 wrote:12 hp seems a bit much, however i do notice better throttle response and more power at higher speeds. Find myself hitting 90 a whole lot easier
I installed mine on a 2.5 CVT coupe a couple of weeks back. It is the same as the one for the sedan. I have taken some pics and have them with me (currently travelling in Brazil) but I cannot find the time to figure out how to post them. Happy to email them if somebody can post them.dldjros69 wrote:Does anybody have an intake for the 2.5 installed on their cars?
Thanks for the tips on posting the pics....here they are (I did warn you about the quality).seekinsp wrote:

I really like the sound. Only problem to note is that for some reason the filter collar keeps on slipping down the intake arm and I have to keep adjusting. It does this no matter how much I tighten it, so I have to adjust every few days (gone through a few clips too). Advance warning, the pictures are not the best quality as they were taken at night and with a camera phone, but it gives you a general idea on layout, etc. It is a really tight fit so the trick is to slide the filter as far as it will go down the intake arm. Took me a while to figure that out and stop the heat sheild from rubbing on the battery cover.
That is correct.audtatious wrote:Looks good. I assume the factory front intake is left in place to help facilitate outside airflow into the engine compartment?
