WAI Engine Sound Volume Increase??

Curious about those of you with WAI. How is the sound difference from the engine?

I know it sounds great, expecially at WOT, what I'm wondering though is general increase in overall cabin volume.

Is it generally no increase at crusing speeds? Is it minimal during excelleration and only at WOT that its louder? Or, is there a moderate volume increase in engine noise during normal excelleration?

I'm debating wheter or not I want to do this purely from a sound issue (not so much a perfomrmance increase). I love the way this car growls and sounds stock, not sure I want to change that, and I know a WAI will change the overall sound (tune, tone and volume), but as I've asked above, Im not sure how much it will change and under what driving conditions it's noticable.

you should read Generic's review on it. As far as my observation goes, it makes the engine growls deeper tone. If you're crusing at around 2200 and under, you will not notice much different. Only when you're accelerating beyond that then you'll hear the deeper growl

There is definitely an overall change in the tone of the car. Nothing that wont be satisfied with in my opinion. It adds to the light tone of the exhaust that is already there. No droning etc. The intake responds better with the VQ than the QR as far as the sound goes.
