I was doing some searching here and someone mentioned that the Wagner Thermoquiet brake pads were better than OEM. Stating they bit harder, were quieter, and produced less dust. Means a lot I think because of how everyone praises the OEM pads. However I've only found one person to say so.

Anyone have any experience with them?

Everyone uses OEM becuase they are the only ones designed specifically for the q45.

Well if he is not using the Q45 calipers on a G50 Q45 and he is using them on a 240 SX (2500 LBS) and the Q being 2 tons well then OEM are going to stop it much faster because they were made for a bigger and heaver car.

But OEM are the only ones that are tested on a Q45 all other are (Universal).

Well isn't that the basically the definition of OEM? I imagine there is something better.

Not all true. I have used raybestos ceramics. I liked them. I am currently running Brembo calipers and pads up front, Nissan(Z32) rear set up with oe pad. I don't have dust issues, but I only drive 1 to 3K a year.

"I only drive 1K-3K a year"....why do you even have a car then? Would be better to call a cab or get a rental?

Ok so not everyone uses them

What is true is that OEM are the only ones build and tested specifically for the Q45 all others just use the backing plate and add thier compound.

I do most of my driving in my turbo forester (310 hp). The family van see's a lot of mileage. The Q is a weekend/show car. So when I said I drive 1 to 3K a year that wasn't totally true. I clock about 6K on the sub and just drive the Q in dry weather.

I have Wagner pads on the Buick Century. Make of it what you will, but they work well on that old boat.
