Ok, Circuit City switched out my non-BOSe factory radio with my sony xplod cd deck, kicker 750.1 amplifier, and two 10 inch JL audio subs. Now the source and volume controls on my steering wheel dont work anymore,is this normal or is there any way to get those to work with the sony cd player? Also, I still have the factory speakers in my doors....after everything is all hooked up now, there is a light but noticable constant STATIC in the background whenever a song comes on in my car.I asked the guy at Circuit City if this was normal and basically he said I would get this static whenever I put an AMP into a car,is this true? Does everyone have static in their door speakers who has an AMP installed in their car?? Thanks for any help yall can give, its appreciated

Your steering wheel controls won't work unless you spend more money to have an interface box installed. As far as the noise goes, you won't get it with GOOD quality equipment installed and a good installation.

Im pretty sure i got "good" quality equipment,i mean the deck was about 275 the woofers are the new models of the JL subs the w2's.and the kicker amp is one of the best amps they got,it was 600 bucks,so i think my equipment is ok
