Ok so my "friend" has a 66 maybe? type 3 fastback vw wasting away in his back yard with some flippin sweet black wheels on it with a crome lip. please tell me if these will fit my s13. also...he has some nice leather honda seats in it. how can i make these work? i Can prolly scoop all this for cheap. thanks nico homies!

hmmm, not sure what a type 3 fast back is...? If you can get me a pic of the car i can tell you if the wheels will fit your s13, is your s13 still a 4 lug?

prob not i believe most Germans are 4x100 or something of that sort. post up the question on vortex or something.

If it's a 4 lug, I'm gonna say no. Im pretty sure their 4 lugs are 4x100

yea the VW 4 lugs are 4X100, I jus wasnt sure about a 66 VW...

You're all noobs. Type 3 is the type of engine used in a VW fastback, it can also be referred to as a "pancake" motor because it is flat, unlike the common VW engine. Type 3 Pancake motors lie underneath the trunk floor in a Fastback.

No, the wheels will not work.

You all need some car culture, I swear...

yeah it's amazingly tight in that engine bay. But you can fit a midget in the rear trunk and a person in the front one. It's crazyness. There's a twin turbo one I saw floating around on the Internet a while back.

so what. is that like. a boxer engine.

VW's are fairly lame. bolt patterns dont match, you dont want honda seats, steer clear from that junk.
