correct me if I'm wrong but isnt VVT Toyota's version of V-tech and Nissan's version of CVTC? if so, then we already have a version of that on our cars

your coupe dont need a vvt, i think thats the whole timing thing in toyotas. I think our version of that is the cvtc. someone correct me if im wrong though. just spend your money on an intake, exhaust, and a y-pipe

The two that mention CVTC is correct. Each car manufacture have their own version. There are several kinds, V-Tec, VVT, VVTL-i, CVVT, etc

V V T stands for variable valve timing and it is Toyota's, as everyone has mentioned, their version of V-TEC. V V T-i is another flavor of it but it with intelligence. Trust me!..there's nothing intelligent about it. In fact, it's freaking retarded!

well, it's not super informative but it gives a general breakdown of how the different types of valve timing work for each motor company.

EDIT: quickly perused and realized the information presented isn't really that bad.

He's driving a 2.5 - so subtract the y-pipe and he's set. Is there an aftermarket catless header for the 2.5 coupes? that's basically the same power gain as a y-pipe for the 3.5s. Made a hell of a difference for my spec V when I replaced the stock header.
