Hey guys im new to the forums and I have a question for you guys to see if you canhelp me.. I wanna know what transmission can I go with if a just have a vvl engine?

Can you give a little more info.. what year and model is your car? What motor size?

Ok its a 93 two door coupe. Se modle 1.6l fwd. Auto

Yeah it might be a while before you get a definitive answer... people are sort of occupied with the holidays right now.
I know for a fact that you can swap in the factory 5 speed though... you might have to do some supporting modifications though (ECU swap, etc).

I assume your name on Nissan forums is sentradude1993, yes? If I am wrong, then you should know that the B14 GA motor has VTC, not VVL.

In which case he means he is going to attempt the install of a SR16 motor. The SR16 vvl was not available in America, but because you didn't post your location, we can't help you right now.

Personally, I wouldn't do that because of the cost. The SR20DE or VE is easier to find and has a nice differential in stock form.

Im in miami. and no im not 1993sentradude. I saw a vvl in a sentra and I thought it was pretty peppy.. The reason for the vvl is that Im going n/a. with that said, what do you guys reconmend. Im not lookimg for massive power i'll be happy with 200 or a little more cause its going to be my daily.

im thinking about doing a SR20DET swap in a 91 sentra but i need to find for it, all i can find is awd and rwd, any help would be appreciated
