lol because it's a civic. I would never drive one, unless it was this plus crv drivetrain..

or if it was a awd crv with the TL 6 speed Jswap.

That's pretty sweet. But I was referring the FAIL to the fact that he took sheet metal shears to his hood

Lol, i've seen it around Boston a few times so I guess i'm a bit desensitized to it, (DC2 and 4door Integra's and eg civic's with the Jseries and cut up hoods..)

There's a lot worse the Honda folks do around these parts that I pay more attention to, and to comment on it you're labeled first and foremost as a hater. If you get past that, you're called a JDM hater, or "You're not JDM'N enough," Image

They do it like its some fad or something.... How about the hondas that purposely rust their hoods... Makes no sense to me. :tisk:

What?! I haven't seen that one... why would you do that to your car, even if it is a honda?

Who knows... This local guy I know showed up to our local tuner hangout spot a while back with a civic he had just purchased. The next weekend I saw him again, this time his hood was completely rusted.

I asked him how he did it and why haha. He said he sanded all of the paint off then poured vinegar all over it and left it in the sun for a day and that was it.. The surface was completely rusted.

My mind is blown... I don't know why they do it either, I guess they think its cool?
