My friend and I are still laughing:D the other day as we cruised though town in the redneck mobile we heard that little exhaust rumble form a four cylinder with exhaust neddless to say this little white slammed neon comes whipping off a side street right in front of us! no big deal till we notice there is a badge on the trunk! what the **** my buddie says as we get closer we notice the curb feelers hanging on the driversideLOL!!!!!!!!!! and the we the badge reads plain as day thats right boys and girls it say VTEC on the trunk of this little NEON it say VTEC we end up next to him at the light and my partner asks him you got a vtech in there the kid smiles and revs and says yes! now mind you we are still laughing about it!

I think my brain is bleeding, please somebody tell me the American gene pool isn't this stagnant. I have lost all hope in humanity. Was it even mis-spelled vtech instead of VTEC? Never mind it wouldn't redeem him even if he spelled it right:rolleyes

You are thinking of the Cobra R but it is common around the area I live to see all the mustang owners purchase GT-R emblems from advanced auto parts and slap them on their car.

well....it should not even be a surprise that nowadays we have dodge VTEC, ford GTR, etc...... as long they sell knock off badges at your local auto parts store...then we got ourselves misidentity cars rolling around.....

5 lugs :rockon

I pity the import racer that pulls up to the Cobra R what with it's massive wing and funny ground effects and doesn't know Ford really built them....

VTEC is a good idea, but it's jerky engagement kinda aggravates me:(

My only explanation for the GT-R badges on fords is that, they probably have a mustang gt, and they might've heard of the cobra r, so they are probably thinking those badges are for them. Maybe none of them have ever heard of a skyline. For instance, i saw this one red mustang gt, with GT-R badges in the front, backm and sides, then he has a windshield banner that says gt-r power. I was kind of pissed that he did that, but that was about a year ago, now i just laugh off all of the ricers.

Well if they are going to fag up their cars with GT-R badges fine, I need a good laugh but quit stealing them! I have three freinds with GT-Rs and their R badges keep getting swiped! They use screwdrivers and keys and **** up the paint and it's really bull****. My buddy in the states with the Cobra Mustang has the same trouble with people, no I'm sorry little scumbags stealing his snakes. If I ever catch some kid jacking up a nice car for friggin badges I'm going to crush his fingers with a hammer:mad:
